first_imgSome lovely musical moments from the opening concert of The 2nd Donegal Chamber Music Festival at Glenveagh with flautist Amy Gillen, the Donegal Chamber Orchestra and Letterkenny composer Derek Ball.Also pictures from the Family Concert at the Glebe Gallery today featuring the Donegal Music Education Partnership’s Junior and Intermediate String Orchestras with soloist Sarah Ponsonby (violin).Franz Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet Op. 51 “The Seven Last Words of Christ”. Haydn’s masterpiece will be performed in the Castle by the Donegal Camerata String Quartet.
