The first unit, PNS Yarmook (F-271), joined the Pakistan Navy’s fleet in February this year. The 2,300-ton ship is part of a two-vessel order with Dutch shipbuilder Damen, signed by the Pakistan Ministry of Defence in 2017. Both ships are built at Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania. The announcement of Rose’s inclusion in the band comes just weeks after it was reported that lead singer Brian Johnson would be unable to perform, due to the potential for significant hearing loss. Axl Rose was rumored to be involved in rescheduling tour dates that the band was forced to cancel, and today AC/DC confirmed the news.AC/DC made the announcement with a press release, thanking Johnson for his tenure and welcome Axl Rose into the fold. “AC/DC band members would like to thank Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years. We wish him all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures… As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to stop touring and save his hearing.
