(Photo by Scott Cunningham/Getty Images)The Iron Bowl is this Saturday, and while Alabama is decimating opposing defenses with ease, the availability of Damien Harris will be significant.Harris was effective with limited touches last weekend, finishing with 83 rushing yards on just seven carries. Unfortunately, the standout tailback left the game with a concussion against The Citadel. With the Auburn Tigers entering Tuscaloosa to battle, it appears Harris is still recovering from his injury. On Monday, the starting running back was not seen on the field. Instead, it was Najee Harris leading the backfield during practice.Fortunately for the Crimson Tide,  Harris did make an appearance in the open period of practice on Tuesday. From Tide Sports:Running back Damien Harris (concussion) was at practice in a black jersey. He was absent yesterday.Alabama usually runs its offense through Tua Tagovailoa, but Harris is putting together a tremendous senior campaign. He currently has 678 rushing yards and seven touchdowns for the Crimson Tide.Harris still has three more days to fully heal before Alabama hosts Auburn. In the event that he’s inactive for the game, expect Najee Harris and Ronnie Clark to receive larger roles.[Tide Sports]last_img read more
